Available endpoints
The common endpoints cover the current IP, arbitrary IP lookup, batch lookup, source coverage and DNS egress. All support IPv4 and IPv6; private addresses return a not-applicable notice.
- GET /api/me?lang=en — current visitor egress and report
- GET /api/lookup?ip=8.8.8.8&lang=en — look up any address
- GET /api/sources?ip=8.8.8.8&lang=en — 16-source reference coverage
- POST /api/batch — batch lookup (stricter limit)
- GET /api/dnsleak?lang=en — DNS egress probe
curl examples
Call it directly from a terminal; replace 8.8.8.8 with the address you want to inspect.
curl https://ip-find.com/api/me?lang=en
curl "https://ip-find.com/api/lookup?ip=8.8.8.8&lang=en"
curl "https://ip-find.com/api/sources?ip=8.8.8.8&lang=en"
What is in the response?
The main report includes IP, location, ASN, ISP, network type, native IP, risk score and public tags; the source endpoint returns the status and dimension of 16 sources. Use /openapi.json for stable field names instead of treating display copy as a contract.
Rate limits, privacy and boundaries
Endpoints use per-IP anti-abuse limits that normal debugging will not notice; batch is stricter. There are no accounts or paid plans. Results are not used for advertising profiles, and cache lives in memory only for a short time.
The API is for public network information, not for locating individuals, bypassing platform controls or scraping third-party data. Follow target-site terms and applicable law.
Frequently asked questions
Is the API free?
All current public endpoints are free with no paid plan; per-IP anti-abuse limits apply.
Do I need an API key?
No. Call it directly; if authentication is added later, it will be documented first.
Does it support IPv6 and batch?
Yes. IPv6 is supported; batch uses POST /api/batch with a stricter limit.
Is there an SLA or commercial licence?
This is an independent self-hosted service without an enterprise SLA. Read the docs and evaluate availability before commercial use.
