Look up any IP

Quick examples:

Batch lookup

Current IP — — —

WebRTC leak check

Runs entirely in your browser

Collects ICE candidates via RTCPeerConnection. If a candidate differs from your public IP, WebRTC is exposing your LAN or real address.

DNS egress check

EDNS Client Subnet

Shows which resolver your DNS queries actually exit from. Note: this can only be measured on the machine that makes the lookup, so on a remote deployment it reports the server’s DNS egress — only a local run reflects your own network. Results are clearly labelled either way.

JSON API

No auth — call it from any script

Everything returns JSON. Interactive docs at /docs, OpenAPI spec at /openapi.json.

Browser-first

Use and go

No sign-up — there is no profile to leak.

History stays local

Lookup history lives in your browser; the server keeps no copy.

In-memory cache

Lookup cache expires after 15 minutes and is never persisted.

Not for sale

No profiling, no ads, no data sold — ever.

DATA / sources

Location data comes from public databases (ip-api.com, ipwho.is, ip.sb, ipinfo.io, Tor Project) and is only used to render this lookup.

LOGS / access

The server keeps minimal access logs for security and anti-abuse only; they rotate by size and are never used for analytics or ads.

FAQ

Questions

Will my IP be logged?

No accounts, no tracking cookies, no third-party analytics. The server keeps minimal access logs for security and anti-abuse only; they rotate by size. Lookup cache lives in memory and expires after 15 minutes — nothing is persisted long-term.

Why do results differ from other sites?

Location data comes from several public databases that update at different paces. We cross-check them and label the source in each report. Results are best-effort, not authoritative.

What is a WebRTC leak?

Some browsers expose your LAN or real address through WebRTC peer connections. Our check runs entirely in your browser — the ICE candidates never leave your machine.

Why does the DNS check say “server perspective”?

EDNS probing can only run on the machine making the lookup. On a remote deployment the page shows the server’s DNS egress and labels it clearly — it says nothing about your network. A local run reflects your own egress.

Is IPv6 supported?

Yes. The homepage probes both your IPv4 and IPv6 egress (browser-side plus server-side), and the lookup and batch APIs fully support IPv6.

Is there a free API?

Yes. Every feature on the page is backed by the public JSON API — no auth, with per-IP anti-abuse limits you will never notice in normal use. Docs at /docs.

How are “hosting” / “proxy” verdicts made?

Heuristics over public signals: ASN and keyword matching, upstream proxy / hosting flags, and the Tor exit list. Every check lists its evidence so you can judge for yourself — false positives are possible.

Who provides the data?

ip-api.com, ipwho.is, ip.sb, ipinfo.io and the Tor Project exit list. Different databases may name the same network differently.
